Yellowfin Tuna (Thunnus albacares)

Light Meat tuna or Yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares) is a fish that lives in tropical and subtropical seas. Among all the tuna species, is the one who prefers warmer waters. Its back is blue-black coloured, while lower flanks and belly are silver coloured. All fins are yellow.

CONDOR fish, used in the production process, are young, in no case exceed 40 kilos in weight, and have been previously selected based on the area and fishing season, the art of fishing and the conservation following the fish catching.

The Yellowfin Tuna is a blue fish rich in high-quality protein and a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, minerals and vitamins.

In relation to its organoleptic characteristics, this fish has a soft pink flesh color and a high level of fat yields juicy texture and intense flavor.
